Syndenham United Church

Sydenham United Church located in Brantford, Ontario was originally built in 1928.  The church was looking to update their men’s and women’s washroom, as well as a providing a much needed universal washroom including; power door operator at the entrance door to the barrier free washroom, new washroom accessories such as towel dispensers and hand dryers, new L-shaped grab bar, and increased minimum clear floor area in the barrier-free area to allow for turning space.  The church received a grant and was then able to proceed with the project, ensuring the church is keeping up to new Ontario building codes for Accessibility Requirements.
