Six Nations Parks and Rec

Through a standard bidding process, Abcott Construction was awarded the contract to construct the new Six Nations concession stand, designed by K.L. Martin & Associates, in June 2019. The project included kitchen, washroom, and storage facilities. Substantial completion of the initial project was declared in March, 2020.

When the COVID-19 crisis started, the Six Nations recognized the need for a testing station. K.L. Martin and Abcott Construction completed the required renovations, including insulating the building, new heating and cooling systems, electrical upgrades, and generator backup power. Under tight time constraints to meet the urgent needs, Abcott was happy to assist the Six Nations community.
