Partnering with local businesses is at the core of who we are as a company. Abcott Construction is excited to work alongside another long-standing community-owned staple in Brantford, Gilbert-McEachern Electric.

After seventy-five years at their current location, Gilbert-McEachern Electric approached Abcott to provide a solution for more space to meet their growing needs. Being a Butler Builder® allowed us to provide a cost-effective solution so they can continue to meet their customers’ needs for years to come. Butler's addition, along with a new parking area, facade upgrades to the current building, and an array of interior renovations will provide much-needed workspace, improved exterior access, as well as enhance their shipping and receiving capabilities.

Butler’s pre-engineered steel clearspan mainframes provide capacity for an interior 5 Ton crane complete with 38’-0’ span. The pre-engineered structure includes a 26ga “Butlerib II” screw-down metal roof complete with galvalume finish, including an area of existing flat roof with a slope build-up system.
